If you find you need to combine multipe PDF files into one and you're using OS-X (I have Snow Leopard in this video), here's how to do it using Apple's Preview application. Preview must be set as your default application to do it in the same manner that I did. If not, you must use the "Open With" dialog when you right click your highlighted documents.

  • thanx, that's helped me to submit my assignment ;)

  • The easier, traditional way still works in SL. This also works with two separate Preview windows.

    1. Open the "Sidebars" in each Preview window.

    2. Drag one document directly onto the other one (in the sidebar(s)).

    3. Save -- you're done.

Note: After dragging, but before saving, SL Preview shows what is supposed to be a helpful pair of thumbnails in the sidebar, but it's actually confusing in this case. It will show a single page as well as a "comb"ind document. Just ignore that and Save.
