Transformation in Senegal - Columbia Presbyterian Church

This video captures the amazing transformation God has created among a group of villages in Senegal, West Africa. In 1998, Columbia Presbyterian Church began a partnership with World Vision (www.worldvision.org) and a group of villages among the Wolof people group. The mission was to minister to the Wolof by developing clean sources of water, primary healthcare, primary education, micro-enterprise, and food security. The leaders of the villages decided how and when the aid would be delivered, e.g., which villages should have water first.

By serving the Wolof, and engaging with them, our intent has been to create questions in their hearts for which the only answer is Christ. We are praying that the Wolof will come to recognize that God loves them and that they will accept Christ. We do not push the Gospel on them, but only answer their questions. The result? Village leaders have asked for bibles and are asking questions that show they are curious about Christ.
