Lenovo has released its X1 laptop, a 13 inch notebook equipped with a magnesium chassis, Gorilla Glass protected screen, and a spill-resistant LED backlit keyboard. We were told at the launch that the X1 was more likely to survive a drop than another laptop... so we got Lenovo to put it to the test.

  • @ibanezbuyer no it's a normal 3.5 inch hard drive

  • @chyansie9x1 thanks

  • @GBJ83 It's Japanese.

  • is that an ssd?

  • @GBJ83 plus its low res compared to the new vaios and its footprint is as big as any 14" evenb though its slim

    non removeable battery? ouch

  • @powerbird101 do you know who I work for? look up anyplace kiosk. as if where we work determines class anyway.

But since you asked I do have class because I will buy the x220 with antiglare IPS screen and take care not to drop my expensive laptop 'cus thats how I roll. My dad can use this one

i know this was just a demo but come on the guy drops it like he was a girl. If you want to prove the toughness of lenovo do what the chinese videos on here do, take a pen and start jabbing the screen.

  • @GBJ83 The "dude is a Lenovo representative and im pretty sure he has class considering he works for such a large company. Although the question that still remains is, do you have class?

  • @GBJ83 I kinda like how it looks, but it is expensive.

  • nice laptop but dudes got way too much money and no class
