  • @patchcords Thats why its good to take a break after tracking before you go to mix it down.

  • Don't want to criticize, but how is recording in a Nashville-based studio different than anywhere else?

  • Sometimes once you think you have it mixed, it's best to save it and then come back to a day later. You will then hear things that need adjusting because your hearing will have had a break from listening to the song over and over again.
