Welcome back to Clevver Games everyone I'm your host Andrea Rene with news from THQ. The publisher's CEO recently appeared the the Cloud Gaming USA Conference to talk about the future of cloud computing in the video games industry.

While there, they announced that their upcoming open-world action game Saints Row The Third will be having around 40 weeks of DLC. Yep, you heard right, 40 weeks. CEO Brian Farrell said, "We totally change how we keep consumers engaged for a very long time...We intend to create an online digital ecosystem that keeps them interested for a year or more."

Wow well 40 weeks certainly is a lot of DLC, and clearly the gaming industry is moving toward a digital market with many games getting digital only release. Even next gen consoles are rumored to be going disc free. But how does this effect the quality of the retail game?

Do you guys think publishers will be leaving content out of the retail release just so they can release content afterward as DLC? Do you care if games become smaller? I mean, a study came out not that long ago saying the majority of gamers never finish games anyway so maybe it isn't such a bad idea? Let me know what you guys think in a comment below. Things that Sainst row 3 should have in DLC's Jetpacks, transforming car that flying & changes back to a car, splitscreen muiltyplayer, customize cars with tyres/ beam of light/ fire tread, a walker with weapons, new game modes & activties, GOOD DLC Missions
