  • @RC01 dancers who can kick your ass

  • Good dancers!!!!!

  • It is interesting to see the minor differences in the different styles and different master's. Not saying either is any more correct than the other, just interesting. I almost like this way better than the one I learned. Very minor differences. I like it. Great job. TANG SOO

  • It seems like each of the groups stays in their own little world where they have control, and if they were to work together, it might weaken their little empire. It is too bad because they have great standards and teach well.

  • Yeah groups like the I.S.K.F. and KWF are really good organizations, but i would like to see more goodwill from the groups. Like having tournaments and seminars together.

  • Thanks for the information......It is interesting to see how many groups have developed since the death of Nakayama Sensei.......Many different competent groups have evolved since then.

  • it stands for karate no michi world federation.

  • I knew what the shihankai meant but just wondered who they were all affiliated with.

I wondered what KWF stood for.

  • KWF was started after Mikio Yahara left/expelled from the JKA during the JKA's schism following Nakayama's death. Shihan means head instructor but is usually reserved for the head/heads of an organization. Kai means upper level or advanced. Shihankai basically means the Highest or Head Instructors of an organization.

  • Who are they? What is the KWF? It say's the KWF Shihankai. Does this mean the men performing Bassai are the Shihankai?
