Academy Award® winnaar Andrew Stanton brengt 'JOHN CARTER', een meeslepend actie-avontuur op de mysterieuze en exotische planeet genaamd Barsoom (Mars). De film is gebaseerd op het klassieke sci-fi boek van Edgar Rice Burroughs en verteld het verhaal van John Carter (Taylor Kitsch). John wordt onverwachts overgebracht naar Mars waar hij terecht komt in een enorm conflict tussen de inwoners van deze planeet. Waaronder Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) en de betoverende Prinses Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In een wereld die op instorten staat ontdekt Carter dat de redding van Barsoom en zijn bewoners in zijn handen ligt.
John Carter draait vanaf 8 maart 2012 in de Nederlandse bioscopen en vanaf 7 maart in België!
