yes, it is based on The Settlers 3 and 4, actually its pretty much the same game but for iPhone and in my opinion The Settlers 3 was the best game in the series ... after that the games become too "realistic", I really prefer this cartoony style and the tiny fat people :D
but I got a question @MASKdk : Is it possible to play a random game like a free game besides the missions in the campaign?

@MASKdk It kind of is. This game is (or at least looks) exactly like The Settlers 4, released for the PC several years back. I used to like it, I'm gonna try this one out.

Actually this game is based off of Settlers 4, which can be had on the PC. But you're better off playing Settlers 7

Is it worth buying? I am a fan of games such as age of empires and battle for middle earth, I also just recently purchased the Settlers 7..Is this game like the computer game at all?

@ChaosAddict33 sorry dude. It isn't. It's very complicated but if you're good in english and want to learn everything about it, it might be good :)
