@Wildgeese73 There is a reason for this that you don't seem aware of. Christopher Lee offered to fund the publicing of the film himself. The 'repressors' of the movie opposed to the themes it presents. We are not suppose to know about our heathen (pagan) past. That information has been surpressed by the christians, the capitolist and anyone else in 'control' of mind & state... the reason the film almost wasn't released. God forbid if we started to work with nature again instead controlling it.

@Blabloo72 British lion had a management change while the film was being shot. The new owners of the company hated the film and had no idea how to sell it. Some bright spark ordered it cut down as short as possible. It was then released with very little promotion and as you would expect, didn't do very well. The original negative of the removed footage is said to have been accidentally buried in land fill. Only one longer print exist's, which was used to create the directors cut dvd(99mins)

Have just watched my version of The Whicker Man and now I know my version has had about 30 mins cut out of it; why I don't know - it was made in 1973 for crying out loud!

Wow! I have not seen some of the pictures/clips from my version of this amazing film!!! Why do they do this? Not give you the full film these days? What is the problem?!!!! RIP Edward Woodward - wonderful actor.

i have both the original vinyl lps , they are my very prized possesions and when i get toasted they will be coming with me and their rebirth will sadly not be their own but probably as mp3s.

You are despicable little liars!! Lol, I love Edward Woodward and this movie! Add Christopher Lee and the lovely Britt Ekland, and some spooky folk music, and pagan mythology.. what else could one ask for?
