WritePad is a new input method for Android OS which aims to replace the on-screen keyboard with PhatWare's proven handwriting recognition technology and can be used for text input in any Android application. WritePad is especially useful on Android Tablets, such as Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Android phones such as Motorola Droid and others.

Great app, needs a few tweaks but it is very good. User dictionary needs to be able to have words with punctuation like in emails .com , every time I add the full email it removes the dot com part. I want to be able to add all chrs into the user dictionary inc the full stop, or if it's not possible, how about a custom dictionary for special words.(Galaxy note, gingerbread 2.3.6). very good app.

If by 'text input' you mean that Android recognise this as a keyboard? then we are talking:P

I was contemplating getting the Acer A500 tablet for use in college, but I wasn't sure if there were any good note-taking apps. Personally, I could care less if the application turned my handwriting into text, but this application seems to do it really well.
I have to ask, though, does this support a vast array of symbols, or is there a way to make my own symbols for it? I am a math major and will be taking a lot of math classes, and I want to be able to use this application for my notes.
