Sex Pistols - Problems:
The 'Chris Spedding Demos' version of Problems. Once again you can really hear Matlocks Bass and the original funky style of the Pistols before Sid joined.

  • they pistols should of had spedding do nevermind the bollocks in 77,in my opinion nmtb is too edited too many over dubs

  • they didnt have glen to do the bass though, i think that is part of the reason nmtb sounded like it did, as they didnt know what to do with the bass at first

what i would like to hear is glen to rerecord the bass lines and then to hear nmtb remixed with them in, now that would be something

  • @100milnic Who gives a fuck about music? I am talking about lifestyle, music was just the way to express it, and it is ment to sound awfull. His lifestyle is totaly against punk...

  • @gulbgulb1 punk is phrase that was handy for the media, sex pistols didn't even like the term. pistols were a rock band with some ideas from & about their time. matlock was in from start, he wrote bulk of music, including the guitar riffs. he set ball rolling writing pretty vacant (after richard hell's blank generation) & that set tone for pistols songs. he left when the bullshit started & was only one not caught up in later shambles. it's his story not yours!

  • How is it possible that someone who likes punk, likes matlock too? I mean, guy was totally against everything that punk represents. Pistols were the kind of band that pushed the boundaries of normality , and he was 100% normal for that period. He didn't like Anarchy in the UK because his mom didn't like the lyrics. He joined the band after they kicked him out twice. Complete moron

yeah, they should have taken Spedding as producer, but:

Chris Thomas was producing Chris Speddings own album "Hurt" just at the same time as he was producing the Pistols "Bollocks", and if you`re listening to Speddings "Hurt" (my opinion) its THAT MUCH better than the Pistols production. So, who`s to blame? I think wether the Pistols themselves OR it was Malcolms decision to let them sound like shit for selling them as a real bunch of punx to make more money with them...

  • owwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhh

  • @ImCoreyForReal fuck you

  • @Radioactive1080z wanker

  • Matlock was a wanker they all said it and it was punk not fucking elvis it doesnt matter about what it sounds like its called do what u want just fuck everyone fools
