What if these were peaceful protesters and citizens passing by? What if this was a University campus - not a public street? What if these people were peacefully protesting, and exercising their First Amendment rights to peaceful assembly? What if your t-shirt-wearing daughter, or sister, or son or brother had been attacked, gassed, beaten by an armed and heavily armoured "officer"?

Where did all this riot gear come from? I mean America in general doesn't have many riots. As a veteran I'm increasing concerned about cops gearing up like soldiers. 5:45 I wore that uniform and I didn't wear it to gas my own people when they were expressing the first amendment.
