  • Yep, there aren't any mufflers on there at all. Those are just open pipes.

  • @daviewavie112 Depends. how big are you? im 5,4 tall. well short lol. an its uncomfortable for me after riding for awile. Im young too. im 24 . With clubman bars they hang low like a crotch rocket with clip ons. But with the old japanese bikes the rear sets are strait down. Soo your bent over alot. If your concerned about the comfort then a cafe racer isnt for you. Most cafe seats are just a rubber sole, or a foam pad. Cafe is about the fun an thrill of riding fast on an old bike

  • are cafe racers comfortable? im planning on getting some sort of classic japanese motorcycle, n theyre noramally standard w/ the stock bars, but the ace clubman bars are a few inches lower. how big is the difference comfort/posture wise?

  • locost and cafe racer. i am jealous indeed.

  • Cafe Racer and a pretty Girl; does'nt get any better than that!

  • @lukew854 your bike is running lean because there is less backpressure without the muffler, the air just fly's out with nothing stopping it! go up 2 sizes on your main jets and your pilots as well. you have to rejet, just put the muffler back on if your too lazy to re-jet

  • Is that your Lotus on the trailer? Have you made a video on it?

    Great bike!

  • hOT ON THE TRAILER!

  • well the bike is running good now with oem jets in the carbs, however the spark plugs are white.. showing a lean mixture. This was running with no air filters. I am going to order the batteries you have shown on your web site so that i can remove my battery box, as it is in the way for the k&n filters to go on. If you did re-jet your carbs could you tell me what size you used?

    Thanks--Luke

  • Could you tell me if you re jetted the carbs?

I'v taken taken the mufflers of mine and it sounds great at idle, however when i ride up the road the bike looses power..bogs down.. i think it is a fuel air mixture issue. It happens once i reach 3500 - 4000 rpm. Thanks--Luke
