Megadeth - Killing Is My Business Guitar

I am just showing the main riff.
In this video i am trying new camera angles so that you can see what it looks like as if you were playing the guitar.

I know the camera is shaky and low quality but try to envision it in hd and perfectly still. Do you like this angle better than other typical guitar lesson angles? Let me know with comments please! Thanks!

how did you do the desaturation on the video?

@valdivia562 - I used Sony Vegas Pro 9. There is a plugin that comes with it called "secondary color corrector". It has a preset to de-saturate all but reds.

It's not perfect, you're missing a high note just before you start the descending riff.

@xXFraudXx - I know I am not playing it exactly like how Dave does on the record. I like my way better. I am not sure I know what you are talking about tho. I hit the exact note at the start of the descending part but I do a pull off instead of just playing the note...it feels more natural to me. If that isn't what you are talking about you should post a video in response to mine and show me. Thanks

@aaronmiller81 The picking of the riff really stands out when Ellefson doubles the riff with his bass after it's played a few times, you should be able to hear how you're bastardizing it from that section alone. In short, you look like a schmuck trying to give a lesson on a riff you can't even play correctly.

All I did was point out your shortcomings so you could improve them and not look like such a schmuck when you post "how to play" videos of riffs you can't even play correctly. It's simple logic, you can't teach others what you yourself do not know.

@aaronmiller81 Ok you're not missing the note you're just not "pausing" or "stuttering" after you play it and you aren't playing the riff correctly so it sounds all jacked. Saying you "like your way better" is a poor way of saying "I can't play it correctly". If you can't hear what I'm talking about then your ear for music needs fine tuning to say the least.
