Alice: Madness Returns Ch. 4 Queensland Part 4/4

Alice: Madness Returns for the Xbox 360. In the Fourth chapter "Queensland" Alice makes her way to the Red Queen, in search of answers for what is causing Wonderland to fall apart.

Mini-Review:
Pros-Wildly fantastical and disturbing imagery that would shock even Lewis Carroll.
-Outstanding voice acting makes the characters believable. Especially the Cheshire Cat
-Entertaining cutscenes dive into Alice's backstory in an enjoyable way
-Combat system is top notch. Each enemy has their own pattern of defeat, and the game frequently tosses many types at you at once forcing you to utilize your entire arsenal of weaponry in the same battle

Con (there is one):
-Platforming segments are some of the worst I have played in any game. The reason is that the core elements never change, so what you play in the first chapter is exactly the same as what you play at the end of the game. Toss in the fact that the chapters go on for FAR too long and you have a tedious exercise in monotony.

Grade: A-, 4 gold stars and a thumbs up

It's intriguing how even though the characters in Wonderland are all mad and twisted, they each represent a part of Alice's mind that's trying to make sense of all her memories. Like the Queen here. Yes, she's totally disgusting-like and ruthless, but she seems to be the realist and sensible character and wants Alice to see the truth she's been trying to avoid.

(and in my opinion, the Cheshire Cat represents Alice's sanity, giving her advice every now and then in order to keep her safe and sane)

gah. can anyone help me with the part where you stomp her heart? the controls it tells me to use wont work (i play on a computer not an xbox). ive retried it 5 times and its still gllitched. do i have to restart something?
