This is the trailer for a new series on CBC (in Canada) inspired by the British version. 13 celebrities discover their genealogy at least 5 generations back. Check out the web site http://www.cbc.ca/whodoyouthinkyouare
I always wondered who I was & where I came from....never really felt like I belonged anywhere...always wondered why I'm still here...My grandfather came from overseas to the US. I think he or my grandmother were survivors of the holocaust...I seen numbers on their wrists several years ago...My grandfather never learned to speak English...My father was killed in a drunk driving accident...he was the drinker......an alcoholic due to the Korean war....& still I wonder why I am here.
@bigbuggie5 A Us version was finally shown in March and finished in April or May of this year. I saw it sand the British version are being shown in Australia. The Us version was shown there even when only one episode was reran.
I am fascinated by family history and it all began when I saw the first ever show in the very first British series of Who Do You Think You Are?
