Arianna's freestyle lyrical routine to "Hurt". She competed in the 8 and under age division at KAR on 11/09. This is the first time Arianna has competed a lyrical solo and she made up the routine while onstage...(improv). Please only positive comments...Arianna is young and has only been dancing for a little over 3 years.

I think for improv and her age this is really good. I'm a little confused on the song choice though it seems a little old for her. Over all good to see her creativity.

shes good, but you can tell that she was making it up on the spot. This could have been really good if she did choreo. ahead of time. Why did she make it up on the spot? Im not questioning im just wondering. I could never make it up on the spot at a competition lol

how old was she? i am doing a solo to this song and i am only twelve... she did a lot of moving side to side which i really didn't like too much but u can't blam here if she is making it up on the spot!!!

Arianna was 9 when she competed at this competition. She competed in the 8 and under category due to the rules being how old you are at the beginning of the competition year.

She had the music prior to this competition for about a month...so besides listening to it at the studio and playing around with it a little, the rest was made up on the spot at the competition.

Thanks so much for the nice compliments! It has been fun to see the different choreography that Arianna has come up with at each competition. Nerve wracking for sure though, as I never know what to expect!!
