that "cessna" as you call it is not a cessna it a hobbie co electra star trainer. and yes it is electric.

First, you will probably need to find a local club and hook up with someone willing to train you. I would recommend buying a Sig Kadet 40 and an inexpensive radio. Your local hobby store can help you there.

The Yak is powered by a Wren turbine, not sure what size but if you powered it with gas, I suspect it would take a DA 100 or DA150.

Coming from a 14 year old child, I'll let the comment pass. If you ever save up $12,000 to buy one of these turbine YAKS and decide to do "3D", let me know...

Unfortunately, the Wren turbine developed engine troubles yesterday and caught both sides of the plane's wing on fire. The upside is that the damage is repairable. I think the owner might be looking to sell.
