  • I agree the poop problem needs to be addressed. But I think what they discovered in India was that instead of using Earth Damaging Chemicals to Fertilize their lands, they just used poop and their problems were solved! Don't you think the days of sewage and fresh water waste are finished? I think it makes more sense to return poop to the land! And definitely not the Ocean with that junk mixed in!

  • @tubbinz hey vic

  • @Zozotheweirdo hey zozo

  • thats my teacher!!

  • omg that's my teacher

  • Victoria does NOT need more land-based sewage treatment plants, because our current, marine-based sewage treatment system, together with source controls, works very well.

Our system benefits both our land and our marine environment, unlike a land-based system which will not make any positive difference to our marine environment but will create thousands of tons of sewage sludge and greenhouse gases.

For more information, go to arrest.ca and rstv.ca

  • I understand that there is a coalition of doctors and other professionals AGAINST the sewage treatment. in Victoria as they're too cheap to want their taxes to go up. Imagine that - doctors and other highly paid pros being too frugal in wanting to deal with this problem. Boggles the mind .

  • As of May 2008, with the release of the Integrated Resource Management Phase 1 Study Report, experts agree that waste treatment needs boosted in Vic. And for all you who think this will cost us, sewage is a valuable resource and raw sewage contains 10 times more energy than it takes to treat it. according to the pessimistic view detailed on the report, these plants would pay then selves off in the first year. and produce massive profits annually. Don't take my word for it, read the report!!!!!!!

  • You get three guesses and the first two don't count.

  • Hello adyblain - Did Victoria ever get a sewage treatment plant, or are the people there still shitting in the ocean?
