Paul Hodgson from bof.uk.com, shows us how to recover an underexposed photograph using ViewNX2.

The video is Nikon centric but Canon and other camera OEM's have their own proprietary software that will accomplish similar results. So, don't throw away those raw files that are underexposed for you may well be able to recover it.

Thanks for watching.

  • After you finish editing, where is the apply button that will save the change you've made and transfer the originals to original file?

  • @Moemay9 - in the adjustments palette toward the bottom you'll see an option to reset the image. To the right of that you'll discover two icons, the furthest one is your save button. The alternative, as soon as you go to another image ViewNX2 will automatically save your adjustments.

    HTH and thanks for looking.
