Eduardo was not cleared of diving but based his case on the reason he dived which was because of his horrific injury.
Anyone with an eye can see he dived.

Eduardo WAS cleared of diving based on the evidence which CLEARLY shows contact by the goalie. At the speed the guy moves it doesn't have to be huge contact, just some contact to throw him off-balance. The fact that he had that horrific injury only ADDED to his main claim, that there WAS contact.
