  • the best simple as that. .....period

  • I think it is arrogant and I like it. Why not have confidence that you are the best in your field, it builds good morale. I work for a company in East TX and can't wait untill I get on at ATCEMS. Cool vid

  • this is travis county ems...they are one or if not eh best EMS agency in the nation, to work here you have to 1st be a paramedic, and then go through their academy..and after that you can specialize in areas like, special operations or traning officer or tactical medicine...look up "austin travis county EMS recruitment" on here that video explains the department very well.

  • How do you become part of this unit? Do you have to be in the fire service first and its like a promotion to rescue?

  • Actually, it is about triage, treatment and transport by bringing ALS medicine to the patients side in the rescue environment.

Read much? It shows your inability to comprehend the message.

Duplication..ATCEMS Spec Ops is the only one providing ALS care in that environment.

It is people such as yourselves that create division and dissention in our world of public safety. If you feel you can do the job, do it, be great at it and have fun....If not, don't bash others.

  • The opening segment displays the attitude that has earned ATCEMS "spec ops" the ridicule and outright contempt of many, many local responders:

Their willingness to sacrifice their core mission of patient triage, treatment and transport- just so they can play rescuer.

The surrounding ESDs are starting to see what the COA has known for years... they are a duplication of services and a waste a money.

  • Im pretty sure there are other organizations that can and do provide those services in the Austin/Travis County Area. I consider this a pretty arrogant statement.
