  • I lived on SW 136street and 82nd ave, our house was totaled, we didn't have electricity for 1 month and i can assure anyone that south of this line it only got worse, way worse. From Cutler Ridge on down to homestead it was complete devastation.

    Survivor.

  • I live in Georgia...went to work in Miami after Andrew. I couldn't believe the devastation as I first drove in to the city. That is the day I got a whole new respect for Mother Nature.

  • i was 3 years old when that hit my house in Cutler Ridge, shits depressing

  • @lostindiancamp

don't worry most of us didn't have power for a week plus. This is the first time I'm seeing these pictures.

  • Those newscasters kill me. They are asking the chopper pilot to tell them....and all the looters where all the merchandise is.

  • Storms like this is exactly why I would never live in Florida. I live in Texas 100 miles from the coast and we got hit pretty hard by hurricanes Rita and Ike.
