The much awaited vetting of judges and magistrates expected to kick off next week has been temporarily suspended for 21 days until an appeal lodged by a law student, Dennis Mogambi Mang'era is heard and determined. A 3 judge bench of the appellate court issued the stay following Mang'era's move to challenge the high court's decision to dismiss the case he had filed last year. Meanwhile the board's chairman Sharad Rao has expressed his disappointment with the decision, saying it will delay a process that is already behind schedule.
