Why do not you stand in the wind?
I think that I do not need to be covered with dust if I stand in the wind.

@peebsb i am a slab layer an use one most days i always wet cut and yes it is messy but your welfare an that of others is more important than any deadline
-
@scott37simon in a perfect world we would all use water for more reasons then just dust but the fact of the matter is sometimes its just not the best way to go about the task. water makes a mess that is hard to clean with out the right equipment or job conditions.
-
@peebsb you still need some sort of dust suppression think of the work force

Thats right, if hes using an Eversharp Diamond Blade then hes good to go. They are specifically designed to cut dry and last up to 70-100% longer than the leading competitor.
why was he cutting the asphalt in a square.

it depends on the blade, some blades are made to cut dry. its also a good way to open up a hard or polished blade as well

Thanks
it's because we are using dry blades, they don't need water to cut, if you buy the right once the hold up pretty good and we also use them for cutting concrete
