CES 08: Project KURO: World's Thinnest 50" Flat Panel Displa

At CES, Pioneer Electronics unveiled concepts for future display technologies under the code name "Project KURO." Pioneer engineers previewed future Project KURO concepts showing extreme contrast and advanced design that will further the idea that plasma is the best high-definition television technology and that the future is black and thin.

This video is the unveiling of the 9mm flat panel display, filmed at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from 1/6-1/10.
