Kessler's argument was superior in this case, but Minecraft is still the right answer. So if we're voting on who made the best case - Kessler, but on who was dealt the right hand - Nick.

I vote Minecraft, though I think Nick misses out on a huge parallel between dreams and Minecraft in that they both convey creations of your brain. In a dream whatever you can imagine can become a part of your dream world, similarly whatever(within some reason) you can imagine can be made in you Minecraft world.

Kesslers arguement was way better & I agree with him.

I think that Mario is more dreamlike than minecraft because it is so abstract, and other-worldly. The logic to the world is very much a dream-like logic, where nothing makes sense but you still, intuatively understand whats going on

The idea that minecraft is a creation of the mind doesn't work for me because in dreams it's not all that common for you to have control of your environment, they're usually more like a crazy ride that you go on.

This is tricky. Kessler used his time very well and had great arguments. Nick had a poor hand so it was much harder to make any good arguments to begin with.

I'm going with Kessler on this one.

Matt whiffed on the creation aspect, but I do agree with him, Kessler made a more passionate argument but I don't think SM64 is the more dreamlike.
