This video is nonsense... we have the world's greatest economy, not because of our government, but inspite of it... the government has tanked Amtrak, for a loss for the past 30 years, has propped up failed business, caused inflation by printing new money and had the fed fuel irresponsibility on wall st and the housing market because they have poured cheap credit into the equation... Then we actually get an example of markets working recently as the I-phone gets slashed in half...

Apart from chastising him from wanting to withdraw from corrupt and unlawful entities and wrongfully suggesting he's an isolationist, you start to sound pissed off at Ron Paul for not being an anarchist? Libertarians aren't anarchists, and state level laws allow more people to be adequately represented.

When did he say he was fighting for civil liberties? He said he wanted to take the governemtn out of authority on the issues of civil liberty. Leaving it up to the states would make it so each one could individually decide.

@VoodooPolitics101 -- You're correct about derivatives market being bad but that's it. Anyone can look at a good thing and pick out something bad. If you have a perfectly fine pie but someone puts poison in it, that's not proof that pies are bad. That's only proof that the correct way to make the pie wasn't really followed. The vast majority of the directly were followed but once the poison is introduced past correct steps don't matter. (Lol, first example that came to my mind.)

I'm a gay man and completely support Ron Paul. He speaks frankly about what he believes and VOTES accordingly in the House. Since people have always - and will always - try to force what they feel is right on others, Rep. Paul wants to allow certain constitutional rights to be protected by the Federal government but then allow the states to have more power. Moving to a different state is easy compared to relocating to a different country. Also, it's easier to fight the state than the Fed gov.
