PEO Soldier

Two infantry units within the 101st Airborne Division were issued the XM25 in November 2010. According to an Army After-Action review, the XM-25 fired 55 rounds in nine firefights between Dec. 3 and January 12. The first unit fired 28 rounds in four troops in contact (TIC)s, the second unit fired 27 rounds in five TICs.

In one engagement, the XM25 fire disrupted two insurgent attacks against an combat observation post, destroying one PKM machine gun position in one of those attacks.

The XM-25 also destroyed four ambush sites during engagements on dismounted foot patrols or movements to contact. In one instance, the 25mm HE round exploded on a PKM gunner. He was either wounded and fled or scared and fled, but dropped his machine gun, which soldiers later recovered.

  • COD players who got noobtubed disliked this video

  • @Halopedian ... For fuck sakes, normally I ignore stupid comments but really? You're comparing the defense of our nation to providing cell phone subsidies for low income citizens? Yes yes... because cell phones should be one of the greatest priorities of our nation, not something like better eduction, providing food for the starving or anything else. If you're going to make a point at least use something valid.

  • @Weston29406 If it ain't broke; don't fix it.

  • DAMN NOOBTUBERS!

  • I do think this is better then the M32, less bulky.

  • 40 mike mike gets the job done better. This weapon wounds more then kills, read the video description.

I think it should have killed. Well that man lives to fight another day. Sell a few more goats at the marker and you got yourself a PKM again.

  • the recoil on that gun is immense!!

  • hoo-ra!! Wunderwaffle!!

  • @SecureHades agreed but i reserve that judgment for a conflict that could be something like Hitler and WW2, my problem is US seems to be supporting authoritarian regimes and going to war for economic benefit. sure US needs the bigger stick but don't over use it. we all enjoy the stability the US and western influence has brought....to the west, everywhere else is a giant mess, primarily because of US and European meddling with their great sticks.

  • @av3nger3 That will never happen. As long as humans are greedy or carry anger in their hearts (which will be ALWAYS), there will be a need for military hardware.
