We've been using Royal Purple Synthetic Oil around here for years... now they've created an oil filter that matches the performance of their synthetic oil.
I run this oil and filter in my civic si and god dam it keeps it quiet and I see a mechanic with 5 more royal purple quarts and a royal purple filter about every 5 months
i will say again, i have 5 guys and my self,we used rp oil in 457hp to 890hp cars rx7,2jz and rb26 the oil DISSAPPPEARS from the engines,in turbo charge car thats what we work on,=the dearler told me in texas,we have to used the royal purple XPR OIL,any body know what i am talking about, its a over rated oil we think,we never have that probleum with arms oil, mobil ,REDLINE,only royal purple,
It sounds like most of you haven't watched the video before leaving a comment. Their filters are not paper, they are woven fiber. RP does perform as they say, I have used it in every car I have owned in the last 5 years with no problems at all. These include a Buick, Camaro, T/A, HHR, SUV, and a GTO. It does what it says, and if you are coming off of conventional oil you can feel a difference immediately.
@robo3060 same here. added a quart to mobil 1 fresh oil so the oil had some purple in it. i suspect the oil filter sucked all the oil up... or it just burned off. because its back to the regular color.
@heartlessvietboy - The cutting-edge AMSOIL Ea nanofiber technology filter is a wonderful technological advancement. I can send you information on it if you wish.
Well, Oil Filters really don't do much. We're really driving on horrible clogged oil. The Technology in Oil Filters are old and outdated. Oil is Thick yet it's ran through a type of film paper. New Technology must be Researched. Oil Filters today has done much better.
