A documentary of the greatest leader in 20th century (Part 3)

"You will recall that I pronounced the National Pact in Ankara.

I have to admit that I also tried to define the national boundaries a little along the lines of human goals of Wilsonian principles. But I should immediately add that I defended the boundaries defined and defended by Turkish bayonets based on those human principles.

Poor Wilson did not understand that the boundaries not defended by bayonets, force, honor and dignity cannot be defended by any other principle." M. Kemal ATATURK

  • What an AMAZING man!!!!! Pure genius definitely.

  • great turk

  • @spastic505 Important to note that the Armenians were faithful to the Ottoman empire, and then were betrayed by the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish Republic of today is not the Ottoman Empire that murdered the Armenians.

  • @mishrik The Turks are actually the remains of Foederati bands who entered the Roman Empire from central asia after the Huns and before the Mongol invasion. They entered and took service with Rome, long before Islam was invented. The Turks suffered from the Mongols, but less than the 12th Century Arabs.

  • @erhan2brother If the system installed by Mustalfa Kemal works, and is against Islam, then perhaps one should reexamine Islam. Too too many Muslims take comfort in the odd notion that learning is not needed: "If it is contrary to the Qu'ran it is blasphemy, if it is in agreement with the Qu'ran it is superfluous." Rather the Qu'ran is a very short book with great flexibility. Learning is needed to know what to do and when to do it, and when to do what is not provided by the study of the Qu'ran
