This image was created as a lesson through digital tutors (Introduction to RealFlow5). Only hearing good things about it, I decided i would try out RealFlow5, I must say it gives an amazing life-like result. I rushed the project a little bit as you can probably notice the water doesnt quite fill up enough. I am going to have a new simulation soon so keep posted.

  • Yeah im really not happy with the way this came out. I've done much better simulations and renders. I'm putting together a generic simulation and would hope to have it posted in the near future

  • Lol yep zirixon, it's pretty annoying.

  • There is artifacting and clipping was caused when I uploaded to YouTube. The acutal vid file has minimal artifacting and no clipping

  • Is the really about what color water is. I realize it's transparent. I used a default derelict marteral with a slight hue to it. Maybe it was to much... Doesn't mean it requires 8 posts to let me know what color water is. Next time I'm just gonna disable comments cause seems like everyone except a few aren't quite getting the point. That's for posting a bunch of useless information. If you read the description I wrote, I'm aware there is problems

  • Thanks everyone. I kinda wish I put more effort in it. I may render it again if I have the cache. I wish I took off the particle life before backing it out. Oh well next ones gonna be better

  • Good, but not perfect. )

  • Im not drinking that... came out like it was clear seamen

  • @goUSAma Well done.... Well done.

  • @Asianchinkk

    *Spelling, *I'm.

Grammar is when it's not the right word (i.e. using me instead of I).

Sorry, I'm sort of a spelling nazi.

  • Still looking...realflow-ish

  • @animajdb is there a place to download pre-made simulations?

  • Just in case you wanted some advice, I'd make the water less blue...more transparent

  • @zmallic well you asked
