Uitwisselingsproject Gemeente Amstelveen - Villa El Salvador

Exchange project between 10 students from Amstelveen, The Netherlands and 10 students from Villa El Salvador, Peru.
The Pervian students were in the Netherlands from September 14th until September 28th. They stayed at houses of 5 students of the project.
We worked together at 2 projects, one to improve the living quality in Villa el Salvador, and the other to improve the youth participation in Amstelveen. On October the 18th the Dutch group set off to Villa el Salvador.
We also stayed with the family. This way we got to know the people better and it was a great experience.
On November the third it we got back home again.
This project is set up by municipality Amstelveen and Villa el Salvador. Xplore is a coverment program that subsidizes exchanges, voluntary work and internships in developing countries.

Hallo, Ik ben Milagros Ik kom uit Lima Peru maar Ik woon in Nederlands sinds december 2009 :) .I would like to be in contact with some friendly dutch people to be able to learn dutch fast or maybe to practice spanish with them too, I live in UTRECHT , Nieuwegein,Im Taking dutch lessons but it is a very difficult language so sorry for my bad dutch ;), I didnt know there were those kind of programs betwen villa el salvador and Holland. groetjes .
