just come back from monte gordo ,nice beach, people friendly,foods well prepared and hotel nice (hotel alcazar)sun catches you out though as it can be quite breezy and after a couple of days not much to do. a boat trip and safari is good from de villa real san antonio (rob the guide is like the big yin!) recommended for familys or people who want to chillax (one week enough but enjoyed it!) :)

It is actually in Portugal, in the eastern Algarve, just a few miles away from the Spanish Costa de la Luz btw.
