A tiny little farm in tiny little Sugar Grove, PA experienced a miracle on the morning of June 8, 210.
George Savko and his sister Janet Savko run the farm, Sugar-Lott Farm, and on Tuesday morning they discovered that one of their cows had given birth out in the pasture. George carried the first one in on his four wheeler and headed back out for the second one. They thought, "Twins!! That's GREAT!!". The second one had been shivering since the temperature was a low 42 degrees. They decided to name her "Chili" and the first calf was all black, which led to her name being "Pepper."
In the meantime, the momma cow had returned to the barn and was acting strange. Janet walked over to the struggling new mom and a hoof popped out. "A third one?!!??!" The third baby girl was born and her name was chosen to be "Hot".
So, Hot, Chili and Pepper are a bona fide miracle! The odds of a cow having triplets is 1 in 25,000 and the odds of them being all female (let alone healthy) is 1 in 2,000,000.
