@Suspect136 Soundcard (probably, depending on what computer you would be DJing on really), REAL! DJ speakers (most regular speaker systems just will not cut it. I'd suggest searching for speakers made for DJing). Thats about it for beginners really...

DJ noob here, Would you need anything besides the VCI 100 and the dj software to get started? like a soundcard or anything?

isnt there a headphones port on this? instead of just mixing from the screen . so u can actually hear the song in 1 hear and other song from speakers?

can you make a video of mapping the vci to traktor. Im confused because i can figure out out to sync it with traktor it says up on midi that its reading it but i still dont understand.

Doesn't the VCI-100 have a sync button that automatically beatmatches the two songs? Correct me if I'm wrong. Great mix btw.

It does, but all depends on the software you are using. Usually these sync buttons don't work very well: they tend to match just beats, not rhythm.
My advice is to avoid anything that promises auto sync. Grab one of these (I strongly recommend M-Audio Xponent)and learn by ear -- there won't be a more precise tool in the thousand years to come. :)
