About 50 determined citizens successfully shut down a Bank Of America branch in Philadelphia on April 18, 2011, TAX DAY for most American citizens.

Bank of America is one of many very large corporations that make $billions in profits, and then use tax loopholes and off shore tax havens to avoid paying taxes on their profits. In fact according to the Government Accountability Office, 2 out 3 corporations pay no taxes. Then the politicians who are bought by these same corporations and the uber wealthy get themselves even more tax loopholes and tax cuts. All this while our government debates throwing veterans into homelessness, cutting heating aid for the elderly, and benefits for mothers with children.

So this group of determined citizens decided to do something about this moral crisis on our society.

  • @MyNana420 I AM SCREAMING AT YOU BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO WAKE YOU THE HELL UP! YOU'RE THE ONE WITH THE CREDIBLE "CREDENTIALS" AND YOU ARE MISLEADING THE PUBLIC JUST AS THE FED RESERVE WANTS YOU TO DO; TRAINED YOU TO DO. THEY LIE EVERY TIME THEY MAKE A STATEMENT.

  • @MyNana420 People do not need to scramble around like ants trying to figure out what the changes in the unlawful "laws" are re Title 26 U.S.C. if they KNEW how to read the first page of that Code. IT HAS NEVER BEEN ENACTED INTO LAW! WAKE THE HELL UP AND SMELL YOUR ABSTRACT IGNORANCE. GET OVER YOUR EGO DEFENSES. Your own ego is defeating you and millions of others who are dragging down even those of us who have KEPT UP and SEE THE FRAUD. WE ARE BEING JAILED AND KILLED BECAUSE WE KNOW!

  • MAYBE IF THOSE STINKY LOUD OLD PEOPLE WERENT OUTSIDE MY BANK I COULD PAY MAH TAXEZZZ

  • @ossiorn I've also no problem with the stock holders, again they are not the problem, the problem is and always has been the government! governments picking the winners and losers deciding who pays taxes and who gets the brakes who gets bailed out who dose not, the failure of the banks was brought about by the government, who then bailed them out rather than allowing them to fail, this could not occur under free market capitalism. socialistic government is the problem.

  • @ABGAN100

And the shame is that some of those CEOs are receiving bonuses that are not performance related. They actually get bonuses even when the company is losing money, but CEOS despite their high profile are nothing but hired hands. The real interesting thing is the majority stockholders of those companies who often own majority stock in several different if not more companies.Who are they?

The old blueblood families of course, along with some new money klans.

  • Let the revolution and the party begin.

  • @guyNbluejeans I've no problem with CEOs of successful business giving themselves bonuses, if the employees of those business feel they are not payed enough they have a number of options like forming a union, or quitting, starting their own business, that is what make free market capitalism great! the problem is governments intervening thinking that they can assure the success of a business, take Solindra for example, the government i.e. the taxpayers give them 500 million and they go bankrupt.

  • @ABGA You'll not get an argument from me about letting the free-market decide who survives!

Btw, I'm not just talking about inept CEOs, but mostly those snakes that play the "I'll scratch your back you scratch my back" game with fellow board members in which it's all about voting each other fat bonuses while screwing the little guys below them by putting them in a position where they work for peanuts and live pay check to pay check as their CEOs hog the dough.

    Some day they'll pay.........!

  • @guyNbluejeans I can understand the desire to punish those CEOs who poorly managed their company's & received bailouts to keep their company's afloat. but in my opinion those company's should never have been bailed out in the first place, I do not believe the government should be in the business of picking winners and looser's, it goes against free market capitalism, against natural section against what once was the american way, of allowing smaller business to grow and fill the market gap.
