Update (May 9, 2011)
I lost all the sequence data and same of the sampled data files after posting on YouTube! I've been using Addonics Compact Flash reader on MPC-2000XL, and the next day, the CF card became unreadable on MPC. The CF card was still perfectly readable on PC, but since I foolishly used long name (more than 8 chars before "."), I couldn't copy all the files on the CF card. (MPC-2000XL uses non-compatible file name format for long file names.)
If saved all the files in old DOS name format, I could've saved all the contents on CF card... So, I take this incident as a lesson, from now on, I'll keep all the MPC files 8 character or less!

Dope remake! Are those drums standard MPC sounds? And do you know if the Souls of Mischief used a sample for 'em in their track? Peace :)

@JeszeySB Thank you. MPC-2000 was not yet released until 2000, so we know for sure that MPC-2000 was not used for the production. Unlike DAWs or NI Maschine, Akai MPCs didn't come with sound library, so there is no such thing as standard MPC sounds.

@LDNURECS According to Wikipedia, MPC2000 Classic was released 1997, 2000XL was released in 2000. MPC3000 was released in 1994.

@slop123456789 I do use it, but rarely. I know most of the obvious samples, and many cases, those lists are incomplete, or/and contains wrong data. (for instance, "The Jam" was not listed in the sample list, at least when I looked.) Sample lists on the internet often contain wrong samples sources, I can tell you that.
