  • That was my first ham rig. For a receiver I used an SX-28 Skyrider.

  • The audio quality is very good. Someone tell me please why hams have a need to focus soley on the equipment. People do exist, humanize your video by appearing.

  • Nice demo; talked with a chap a couple miles to my south who was using a DX-60 this morning on 75M (here in lower-48/ 5-land) - really good sounding audio!

  • I used to have one in the sixties and I added an external plate modulation with a pair of 807's and I got a good reserve of audio. I added a choke to the screen on the AM position but on the CW position the choke was removed. I had a tremendous audio with 75 watts input it gave me something like a Viking Ranger.

  • Hi Reg. I bought a DX 60B just like the one you have in the video. Im wondering what the modification was and what you did? I love how you set the mood with the big band music in the background. What are you using for an antenna? Would love to share experiences with you. Maybe work you on 20 AM? 73 DE VE7HLO
