The pipe organ was THE machine of the 17th and 18th centuries as was the steam locomotive to the 19th century and the nuclear power plant to the 20th century. I wonder what will the 21st century bring as its contribution to this genre?
I am not wrong. Please read more carefully my previous comment and try to find the video i suggested. If you understand german language listen VERY carefull Herr Ahrend. and you will see how wright am i in my previous words.
Surely what we see here is the Bavonkerk organ in Haarlem, but the ONLY original 32 f. original Schnitger pipes are in Martinikerk Groningen - this was my message.
florin11bv, YOU are the one who is wrong. That is clearly St. Bavo in Haarlem. It is the most famous organ case in the world, and the wooden vaults of the nave are unmistakeable. The organ in Martinikerk Groningen is much less tall and impressive and the church is of hall-type, without clerestory..
Enjoyed that. I have posted my own attempt, which only my third YT posting!

I think the most beautiful organ we have here. It's a pity it only last for 48 seconds..
Thanx for sharing! Grtz from Holland

Florin, sorry I misunderstood your point. I thought you were correcting the identity of the organ in the video. My apologies.
