@chillichomper Yes..it works on cat urine. Regular dish detergent is fine..it doesn't have to be green. I have 8 animals..4 cats, 4 dogs..and the peroxide/soda/dish liquid stuff works fantastic! I've used it on carpet, couches, backseat of the car, rugs, shoes..you name it..it's always worked for me. DON'T use straight peroxide on the carpet..it changes the color..it's the mixture that makes it work.

Bleach is a whitener not a stain remover, so unless the carpet or fabric is pure white, then you can very easily change the color of the carpet all together . Even if you use color guard bleach, that's still not good for the carpet because it contains detergent, since detergent by nature is a dirt attractor so when it's left in fabric like carpet or furniture, more dirt will be attracted back to the spot where the detergent based bleach was used.
