  • You are a retard!!! Why would you deface our nations captiol with those retarded sculptures. We dont need to put up sculptures to remind us of what we have done. I agree that we need new energy sources but dumb statues wont help. How about we take the money we would spen on your sculptures and work on our energy problems and then take the rest and get you on some meds!

  • Oh i got it now! lets not the homo sapian species kill it's self with lots of reminders of how we have been doing.

  • Mr. Malloy,

This is a very educational piece, and a good right brain/left brain acomplishment. As for the proposal of building and placing the statues, I'd like to start with NOVA M Television.

Had I known you were going to be in the video, I would have watched it sooner.

    Thanks,

    naughtYmike

  • The hand incident was dramatized in the movie Fat Man and Little Boy, and still gives me chills, seeing the two uranium sphere halves glowing blue while someone yells "critical!"

  • Mike,

I think it would work better at MOMA. The only reason I say that is because the neo-cons are simply too stupid to understand the nature of what they represent.

  • How about a sculpture of the Enola Gay, Bombay doors opened and an animated Tibbets saying "We Are Coming To Youuuuuu....!!"

I just wouldn't plant it in front of the pentagon...

  • "Hear me more plainly. I have in equal balance justly weigh'd

What wrongs our arms may do, what wrongs we suffer,

And find our griefs heavier than our offences. - (2 Henry IV 4.1.70-3) Wm. Shakespeare

    Tragic irony. Brilliant.

  • A stunning idea at a time when imagination seems to be lacking; except were there is a buck to be made.

"I am become death, destroyer of worlds." But, why should such a force be limited always to what can be decimated?!

  • I like these ideas. Don't put a statue of that bomb cake at the Pentagon though. The folks who work there won't get it - they'll take it to be us wanting to set a large bomb off in the middle of their building, blowing it to Kingdom Come. Or maybe Baghdad. Whichever is closer.

Sadly, I don't think the folk who need to understand this would get it. Those folk have no art in their souls, and such statues cannot touch them.

  • Thanks for the heads up, Mike. This is indeed chilling. Especially after reading redravensounds' comments. I, too, once worked as a cog in the war machinery. I vow I will never do it again. For any amount of money. The proposed sculptures should make any politician think twice. But will they? I doubt it.
