  • This was done because Sen. Obama was running on a tight schedule, and had to drive from Bayamón to San Juan, to appear at a "caminata" in Old San Juan, so they were pressed for time, yet wanted to listen to as many questions as possible.

In the future, unless you are either a U.S.-certified translator or were there, please refrain from issuing quick judgment or slandering people professionally. Thank you.

  • On the July 7th edition of AndersonCooper 360, deceased hispanic music legend Tito Puente was disrespected by two losers identified only as "Alana" and "Chuck" when the following quip attributed to them aired alongside an image of semi-nude hispanic activists: "Mexican health officials offer another tool in the abstinence arsenal program- the Tito Puente prophylactic." They were implying that he was of less than pleasant visage. How can those mutants at CNN talk about the appearance of others?

  • Estoy contigo

  • Fact of the matter is that Obama doesn't care about Puerto Rico now that the primaries are over. In fact he probably won't go back to the island outside of vacationing ever again unless there is another primary. It's a wonder how people are worried about every other nation but the U.S. If you don't care about the colony anymore, what is the point in having it? Is the idea just to make people suffer for generations to come?

  • You know that ftzdyre, but most people don't know politics. They just talking and voting on instinct. they fail to see that Obama is such a postive not only for all minorities including Hispanics...they see it backwards, just like the way they voted last Tuesday.

Also many hispanics see themselves competing vs the blacks and using their race to beat them. that's so fucked up. Without the Blacks, the hispanics wouldn't even be in this country.. that's another topic!!!

  • I believe Obama respect Hispanics. Bill Richardson often said it. Although a large portion of them did not vote for him, Obama is still mentioning latinos in his speeches. Not too many leaders [black or white would]. He respects Hispanics because he knows many of them. Unfortunately some of them are as non-progressive as the non-progressive whites in West Virginia, Kentucky area. We must have compassion for them and hope that one day they, too will grow mentally and be better human beings.

  • I love the way he answers the questions in a we'll respectful manner....This year i'm voting for Obama the U.S. as we'll as P.R. needs a change we don't need 4 more years of another Bush.. McCain stated that he will end the war in 2013 so that means the economy will get worse

  • A very lil history fact of P.R., in 1898 was given to the U.S. by Spain as war booty after loosing, 1917 Jones Act made all Puertorricans, U.S citizens, 1952 Estado Libre Asociado ( so called Commonwealth) with the U.S. good back then but obsolete these days its a neo colony or a territory of the U.S. We can fight in wars but not vote for the President who send us. Second Class citizens

  • Peace to all Latinos and Mexicans. Black and Brown Pride unite as one.

Obama as President. Let's unite the world as one.

    One Love

  • Yes Puerto Rico is part of the U.S. at least on paper. It is more of a territory than a state.
