  • How big are the parents? remind me of my Frempongi Pair with 200+ inch long babies

  • @jamesgatward1985 The parents are about four inches long in this video. The male is now closer to six inches. Unfortunately, he killed the female fighting over protecting the eggs.

I wanted to just keep one breeding pair, but it seems the males only tolerate the females that are ready to spawn.

  • hey what did you feed them once they hatched ? I have a pair that just laid eggs today and alone in a tank by them selfs , im not sure when to take the fry out will they be ok with the parents for a couple of weeks or will they turn on them?

  • I feed the fry baby brine shrimp and cyclops until they are big enough to handle larger meals.

The parents do a good job defending the fry. No other fish will be tolerated in the tank.

If the adults spawn again you will need to remove any older fry.
