Hey,

This is one of the songs I performed this year for my HSC Music, in the topic "Instrument and its Repertoire". I composed this solo, and it was a huge challenge in both writing and learning, though I'm very happy with the result.

I was nominated for Encore, which is a concert of various chosen HSC performances, and so this is my video audition.

This piece was heavily influenced by Grant Collins, an amazing Australian drummer, and his use of tone colour, polyrhythm, independence and crazy time signatures.

Enjoy!

  • This is amazing!!!! Great job!!!

  • I am so stuffed for my HSC. You my friend, are a machine!

  • @Drumpro712 I'd like to study it, and use it for my examination at the end of the year.

i didn't mean that i'd want to change your piece or anything (my English ain't always that great...)

with 'to work on this' i meant 'to practice this'.

  • Great stuff man, you've got a big future ahead :)

  • Awesome job man, loved it!
