We love you all!
Old and Young
Down by the old graveyard barefoot we'd walk all around
Scared not of the ghosts for flowers we'd plant in the ground
Next to the headstones of parents and lovers and friends
More children than children, all grown who have stopped visiting
And we loved, and were loved
And the summer sighed, and gave up her children
I read you books who's binding were worn and well known
You twirled in skirts who's fabrics held hues from the loam
Byzantium called us to never, no never grow old
And us being children always did just as were told
And we loved, and were loved
And the summer sighed, and gave up her children
You've picked your plot you say
Where forever you'll want to lay
But I wonder throughout these days
Will I lay beside you always...
