Alexandr Kulakov EJC 2008 performance

This video was shot during the second gala show of the EJC 2008. The performer you see in the video is not only one of the absolute best ring jugglers of all time, but he is a great guy too. I had a couple short talks with him at the EJC, and not only was I allowed to record video of his practice and his show, he also had no problem with me posting it online.

So here is Kulakov's ring routine from the EJC 2008 gala show. Now those who did not attend may enjoy it too!

I would like to know how he does those 5 ring flats, those are awesome.

They aren't really flats as such. They're helicopters, just like helicopters with clubs aren't flats - they have a horizontal spin, instead of a vertical one.

yeah I have been trying that but I happen to be way too slow in every throw so I havent managed to do those with 3... only with 1ring and it doesnt even look as good or solid as any throw in this video... you could make a tutorial about it !

@soggy91 Yeah, I could. But I was just told I do way too much, so tutorials are out of the question for some time yet :-/ I've been noticing I'm about to over work myself, so I need to cut back on stuff - and getting back to doing these things for the juggling community would have been good, but it would be very unhealthy for me. Sorry :-(

Yeah and do 5 club bxx and a host of other ridiculously difficult tricks Sergei is still around and I think at least 5 years ago was still doing shows.
