as an avid fan of heavier music i think kirk is a great metal guitarist but not top 10 material, also i love metallica but lars is kind of weak sauce there are billions of better drummers on the planet.this is the best list i have come across so far on here but there are some obvious greats missing one being paul wagoner from between the buried and me another being from the human abstract 2 of the cleanest most skilled musicians in metal and its suprising that the get over looked so much

But kirk hammet plays mediocre easy to play crap and covers up his sloppiness with the wawa effect and lars loses time live all the time.

@Memodoky kirk now sucks, i like metallica but i went to see them live and now he doesnt play the full songs like in 80s(mean solos) and if you say that might be the age well Dave, Janick and Adrian still playing the solos and the full songs like always thats why i love IRON MAIDEN . UP THE IRONS FOREVER!
