In this episode, we get to see the fruits of our labor. Was it all worth it? Can Holy stop Meteor? Or is the planet doomed anyway?

There's still the credit sequence and my review of the game to come, as well as a little more to the ending.

Thanks for watching!

  • I think It was suppose to land at midgar because there is aparently alot of mako left to be drained there. Great concentration I guess :\

  • Well now that I think About it, when ki'daj (or however the hell you spell his name.) shoves Jenova's head into himself, Clouds really just fighting jenova in the form of Sephiroth? So Sephiroth never acutally talks until Crisis Core? Well actually Kingodm hearts, but for all we know, that jenova too! By the way, nice melons Tifa.

  • Wow what an ending, man. With all those soundtrack and atmospheres. Insane game I tell you.

  • so meteor is supposed to wipe out the planet, but people go about their lives sleeping and such, as if there is a next day to prepare for LMAO

  • @laserwolf65 If they didn't fight Sephiroth, he would still be merging with the LifeStream and the planet wouldn't be able to save itself. So if they didn't fight Sephiroth? Sephiroth would have made the planet his vessel and use it to sail the cosmos.

  • The game was about saving the world it was about finding who you are and what you stand for.

  • @laserwolf65 But it seems the purpose of the characters wasn't so much to save the planet anyways. Wasn't that what they said in the highwind? That as much as they would like to say it was for the planet then they primarily had personal reasons. You know, feel special, save friends and families, save Aeris who maybe had a hand in the lifestream coming out, revenge and what not. And then all the small sidequests in which they helped people and released shinra's hold of the planet.

  • talking ruin magic ._.

  • I hate this ending because it basically admits that the game was pointless. Holy didn't do anything, the party didn't do anything to help save the planet--the planet saves itself. Besides being a huge Deus Ex Machina, it means that the characters could have stayed at home drinking coffee and playing board games, and it would have turned out just the same. Great storytelling (sarcasm).

  • Holy hell! Omnislash FTW!
