Nat King Cole trio, from I'd guess around 1946: Nat (King) Cole, piano; Oscar Moore, guitar; Johnny Miller, bass. SWING stomper!
Played on an amazing unique record player I've never seen during a lifetime of collecting: It's a "VICTROLA" (actually a Phonola Dynacoustic), but with a direct linkage of the needle to a speaker cone - listen to that Amazing BASS response (for a wind-up player).

My apology for misunderstanding, and I should have noticed that right away!! It does have amazing in the bass output for a phono of that time. One of my friends has a 1946 RCA Victor table tube radio that has a phono input, and I would like to get that going for him to make some videos of it with a turntable playing through it sometime, to hear how it sounds...Friends, Lloyd.

That is amazing bass for an acoustic phonograph, and it sounds like it might be very rare!!...Friends, Lloyd.

@Jonnyyuma - Rock! Hey, there's a guy Walt Sommers (that's not me!) who makes THE BEST victrola needles, using original manufacturing equipment!, and you can get packs of 100 for less than 5 bucks w/ shipping. On ebay search for this phrase and it'll take you to his page: "100 New Soft Tone 78 RPM Steel Needles". Shows pictures of the spherical tips under a microscope and everything. Keep the music spinning & Merry Christmas!
